Compare solar companies with TrustMark category records. Check current registration, relevant work, consumer protection and contract details.
TrustMark is a government-endorsed quality scheme. Check the current registered business and relevant work through TrustMark before relying on a directory badge.
Use the official Trustmark information. Source checked 19 September 2026.
Match the registered business with the legal name on the quote and confirm the work category. Read the scheme’s homeowner information and clarify the responsible scheme provider if you need to check a claim.
A company website may contain an old badge, and a similarly named business may be a different legal entity. If the official source and company information disagree, ask the scheme operator or business to clarify before treating the claim as current. We do not independently certify directory entries.
Ask what financial protection, workmanship cover and complaints route applies to your particular job. A directory category does not establish funding eligibility, and scheme membership should not replace a written specification and comparison of proposals.
Tell the contractor whether you need a new installation, a battery retrofit or repairs to an existing system. Ask about recent experience with your equipment and property type, postcode coverage and who responds to problems after handover. A company's credentials alone do not tell you whether it accepts your particular job.
Give shortlisted companies the same address, requirements and existing-system information. Request exact equipment models, a survey scope, installed price, exclusions and separate product and workmanship warranty terms. Check the assumptions behind output or savings estimates and ask for changes to the agreed scope in writing.
Use our battery installation guide for storage questions, repair guide for existing faults, or services and brands directory to explore other requirements.
The records below carry an existing Trustmark category. They are starting points for checking company claims, not a list of independently verified current members.
Confirm your postcode, the exact work required and whether the company currently provides that service. Ask for relevant recent experience and a written specification before comparing quotations.
Existing category records are not independent certification. Check company claims against the appropriate official register or manufacturer and look for dated source information on enriched profiles.
Request equipment models, survey and installation scope, access, electrical work, commissioning, VAT, exclusions, payment stages and separate product and workmanship warranties.
