Enquiries and listing corrections
When you submit a quote request, we receive your name, email address, any optional phone number, postcode, selected service, building type, property relationship, roof/location, existing system, timeframe, optional annual electricity use and message. A listing-correction request includes your name, email, listing reference and message. We use these details to review and respond to your request.
Quote requests are emailed directly to the installer you select using Mailgun. The form names the recipient and requires your agreement to send your contact and project details to that business. Your email is the reply address. The directory receives a private email copy of your quote request so we can monitor delivery and help with enquiries. Corrections go to the directory team through its Hostinger mailbox and Gmail forwarding. We record consent wording, version and submission time with the request. Installer privacy practices apply after receipt; delivery, response and a quote are not guaranteed. We use provider delivery counts and listing IDs to monitor the service, without adding enquiry text or contact details to analytics. Existing directory-only enquiries are not automatically forwarded. Your details are not used for unrelated marketing.
Please do not include payment details or sensitive personal information in your message. To request access, correction or deletion of information you have sent, use the contact form. We review such requests and explain any information that needs to be retained.
You can withdraw consent at any time using the contact form, including before any installer is selected. Withdrawal stops future processing based on that consent; it does not undo lawful processing already carried out. If details have already been shared, we will tell you the recipients so you can exercise your rights with them too.
Newsletter
Newsletter subscriptions use Mailchimp and are separate from quote or correction requests. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. You can use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter to stop receiving it.
Website measurement
We use Google Analytics to understand site visits and actions such as clicks on installer websites, phone links and quote links. Our custom enquiry events record the action and listing reference; they do not include the name, email, phone number or message entered in the form. Analytics and hosting providers may process technical information about requests, devices and website use.
Maps and company websites
Maps display third-party map tiles. Opening an external company website or directions link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices. Our directory does not control those services.
Keeping information accurate
We use public business information to maintain listings. Companies can suggest corrections through their listing or the contact form. We review supporting information before making changes.
Contact
Use our contact form with privacy questions, correction requests or a request to stop directory communications.
