Comparing Powerwall 3 installation quotes

Ask for the exact battery model and quantity, any gateway or backup equipment, the circuits included in backup, electrical alterations, commissioning and monitoring handover. Have the installer assess compatibility with your existing solar equipment before you choose a package.

Separate equipment, installation, access costs and any additional electrical work.
Request the total price with VAT treatment stated explicitly.
Distinguish the manufacturer’s product warranty from the installer’s workmanship cover and aftercare.
Confirm who handles any required network application and the proposed installation timescale.

Can I add Powerwall to an existing solar installation?

Ask the installer to assess your current panels, inverter, electrical supply and backup requirements. Tell them the equipment models and whether you want battery storage alone or wider system changes.

Does a company’s office location mean it covers me?

No. Confirm your postcode and whether the company takes on residential or commercial work. A nationwide commercial service statement is not evidence of nationwide domestic coverage.
